Education

The education at Stepping Stones is more based on helping individuals learn the basics of living on their own. 
As we don't offer specific schooling options we are fully supportive of residents furthering their education and will help them find the services needed to achieve what they are looking for.

Meet The Founder

My name is Ryan Moolenaar and I am a recovering addict. I am the Director of Stepping Stones of Sheboygan County Inc. 
Four years ago I was given the opportunity to stay at a facility just like this. This opportunity gave me the safety and accountability I needed to practice living a better life while being held accountable for putting new and healthy habits into my daily living. If I didn’t have that I would have been homeless and likely returned to my old way of living. 
As the previous director transitioned out, I slowly became more involved and eventually was given the amazing chance to become the current director. 
We have a much bigger chance for me and my wife to give back and give this same opportunity to others helping to change the recidivism rate one person at a time.
